Feeding Families

Program goals: Feeding Families provides Food Banks Canada’s Affiliate Member food banks with resources and funding to help them work more effectively with families with school-aged children. The Feeding Families program was launched with founding support from McCain Foods (Canada), an ongoing sponsor of the program with additional support from NestlĂ© Canada.

Support: There are two components of the program:

  • Educational resources are available to help people living on low incomes by providing information about planning and preparing nutritious and economical meals.
  • A granting fund is available for our membership. Members and Affiliate Members may apply each fall for assistance with developing and implementing family-focused programs or initiatives.
