2013 Member Conference

Program Goals: The 2013 Food Banks Canada Member Conference is being held Wednesday, June 12 to Friday June 14 in Charlottetown, PEI. This year’s Conference theme is Nourishing our Network, and will bring together the food bank community in Canada in order to create an engaging opportunity to learn and collaborate.

Support: The Conference is aimed to provide Members, Affiliate Members, volunteers and Board Members within the food bank network valuable information, tools and inspiration for the work we do.

Workshops and Roundtables will be offered in each of the following subjects:

Social Media
Fundraising
Food Raising
Working with Boards
Advocacy
Food Bank Operations

In addition to these, three Plenary sessions are planned as well as networking Events and a Nourishing our Interests session on Wednesday afternoon when delegates can chose from a number of activities in the Charlottetown area.
