Programs

Food Banks Canada manages a number of services and programs to further our mission of providing short- and long-term solutions to the problem of hunger in Canada.

These services and programs help build the capacity of the food bank network and assist food banks in obtaining a safe and steady supply of nutritious food. This in turn enables them to better meet the needs of individuals accessing their services. We also provide skills development for food bank staff and volunteers including food safety training, and offer meal preparation and nutrition education for food bank recipients.

Our programs are made possible through the generous support of our corporate partners and individual donors.
